Creating Abundance While Navigating Change
YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN
“Wear the world as a loose garment which touches us in a few places and there lightly.”
St. Francis of Assisi
Every astrologer, tarot card reader, and intuitive I follow says that 2025 will be full of rapid change. Like a kayaker, you can either navigate those rapids or be flipped.
These are the three steps you can take to help you on the river of life.
MEDITATE
The only thing you can control is you. You can’t control the world around you.
Meditating is the easiest way to ground yourself. You don’t even have to do it very long. Start with 5 minutes of deep breathing before you get out of bed.
If you have been following my journey, you know I am in the process of becoming a Silva Method instructor. There are many great guided meditations on YouTube. I recommend those by Jose Silva himself, Vishen Lakhiani, Stephen Dobos, and the longest-teaching Silva Instructor, Ken Coscia.
ENVISION YOUR DAY
You can’t get what you want if you don’t know what it is.
Begin by visualizing the day you wish to have. You can do that within your meditation. You can do that by speaking out loud in the shower. (The water hears you and carries your words into the world.) You can journal it, perhaps using a future scripting technique.
LEAN INTO IT
We all want the joy to last forever. We’ll do anything to avoid pain or sorrow, but that isn’t the human experience.
“The best way out is always through.”
Robert Frost
I learned this as I went through a protracted divorce and experienced a dark night. I found it easier to let myself feel all the feelings—anger, frustration, sorrow, grief, etc., as I went through the process. Over time, it got easier and lighter.
Did I enjoy it? Heck no!
However, I now have a deeper appreciation for all my emotions, and I don’t sink as low as I did in the past when something sorrowful or frustrating happens.
Next time you feel the welling up of an emotion we label as ‘negative’, lean into it and see where the journey takes you.
