I am glad that you liked my story about the found pin and my missed golden opportunity, which I shared with you more than a week ago. I have received a lot of emails from you, and I am trying to reply as fast as possible to all of you.

I found so many of your stories very inspirational. There are so many people out there who are enjoying all the SPEC benefits for themselves or their family’s better life. Because everybody can do it!

Thank you, Anita, for your story.

From Anita :

That was an amazing story. Things like this happen to me all the time. I have even started writing different experiences down in a journal. It is truly amazing the way things can happen if you just believe it will. One of the most amazing things to happen to me was Obama’s Inauguration Day. Here is my story,

The date was January 11, 2009. On this day, while talking to a co-worker making copies in the workroom, I mentioned how nice it would be to be able to see the whole Obama Inauguration on January 20th. We work at a school, and the most that we would be able to see was maybe 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Particularly, the part when Obama is swearing in. I just said to her, “I HOPE IT SNOWS ON TUESDAY!  I just laughed and went back to class. This being such a historic election, I wanted all the kids to be able to see it on TV.

All week long, this was on my mind. I even told family members that I wished we could watch the entire Inauguration. This was such an exciting moment, and I didn’t want to miss a thing.

This was the first time I had ever wished for snow. I never wished for it because if we miss a day of school because of snow, we have to make it up on another day.

Monday, January 19 rolls around, and the Obama Inauguration was heavily on my mind. Today was another important day.

It was the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, and all schools were closed to celebrate. I was hoping we would have Tuesday off to watch the events on TV.

When I woke up on Tuesday morning, it looked unusually bright outside. I looked out the window, and all I saw was a land of white snow. I could not believe what I just saw. I just gasped.

I immediately thanked God over and over again for this beautiful day. A few minutes later, I got a recorded phone call from the school system saying, “All schools will be closed today for staff and students.” The surrounding counties’ schools were closed also. Well, most of the schools in my state and other states were closed today.

Wow! We had the MLK Holiday off, and now Obama’s Inauguration Day off too! Amazing, awesome, and out of this world! Not only did I get to watch the event, but my own kids did as well, because college classes were canceled as well. I believe, and I know, projecting works. It worked for me even though I was just thinking out loud. Families were at home together because of the snow, so they got to see the Inauguration as well. There weren’t many cars on the road today. God made sure of this.

To top today off yet again, I received another call from our school system saying that on Wednesday, we will have a two-hour delay. This allowed us to sleep a little later after staying up later than usual.

Before getting to work, I was able to pick up several Obama newspapers before they were gone. When I got to work, everyone was talking about how they watched the Inauguration events all day long. Me too!

Originally, Friday, January 23, was a teacher workday, no classes for students. Instead, to make up for the snow day, we had school. The following Monday was an optional workday for teachers, also. True blessings all around. God truly takes care of us if we just listen and believe!

A true believer,
Anita

There are no coincidences. If you wish to have snow, you will. Because everything works for you, just believe in it.

Do you have any little stories to share? Great! Put them down if you want, and start to SPEC for something more if you wish.

And don’t forget to keep me posted with your successes.

Believe and Receive,

Helene
