Helene Hadsell is The Winning Sage – Bonus 3

In 2009, Vishen Lakhiani and his team from Finer Minds (now Mindvalley) interviewed Helene Hadsell and created a program called The Winning Sage, which included 13 videos, 4 audio recordings, and a PDF version of the 2nd Edition of Contesting: The Name It & Claim It Game.

Since clips from those interviews are widely shared on Instagram and TikTok, I thought it would be prudent to create a blog series featuring highlights, along with the full video (or audio) from each interview, to ensure Helene’s teachings don’t get lost in quick sound bites.

Bonus Three

Helene Hadsell’s approach to winning began with wanting something, imagining herself having it, expecting it, and eventually collecting it. She called this SPEC: Select It, Project It, Expect It, Collect It.

But Helene believed the process went beyond winning prizes. She also used it to explore experiences she wanted, including communicating with people she admired.

In this short conversation, Helene shares a remarkable experience involving a figure she said appeared to her twice. During the second encounter, she was reminded that her purpose was to help and encourage others. She believed she had received help from another dimension, but she was clear that she never considered herself a chosen one.

For Helene, winning was about more than material things. It was also about helping people, following your purpose, and staying open to possibilities you might not otherwise consider.

Watch Helene share her experience below.

NOTE: The blog photo was taken in Helene Hadsell’s Avvarado, Texas home in 2008. You can see where she hung up her beloved painting.
