Helene Hadsell is The Winning Sage – Bonus 4
In 2009, Vishen Lakhiani and his team from Finer Minds (now Mindvalley) interviewed Helene Hadsell and created a program called The Winning Sage, which included 13 videos, 4 audio recordings, and a PDF version of the 2nd Edition of Contesting: The Name It & Claim It Game.
Since clips from those interviews are widely shared on Instagram and TikTok, I thought it would be prudent to create a blog series featuring highlights, along with the full video (or audio) from each interview, to ensure Helene’s teachings don’t get lost in quick sound bites.
NOTE: I don’t have any images of Helene Hadsell teaching or lecturing, so I chose to share an image of where students gathered in her Delta Sciences Center.
Bonus Four
Helene Hadsell was invited to speak about The Name It & Claim It Game at a lecture outside Boston. She started with her usual message about everyone being a winner, but something in the audience caught her attention. She felt compelled to change direction and speak about the pain of rejection and the tragedy of suicide.
At the back of the room, a man stood up and thanked her. His brother had taken his own life just the week before. Helene was shaken by the unexpected connection, but the story ran deeper.
During the break, the man’s mother approached Helene. She explained that her son had been struggling since his wife left him and that she feared he might hurt himself. She had practically dragged him to the lecture, and he had ended up in the very seat Helene had noticed.
Helene believed she had made contact with him in a way she couldn’t explain. The following day, he attended her workshop, where she introduced past-life regression. During the session, she interpreted what emerged as a pattern of control, pride, and rejection that might help explain his struggles in this lifetime.
It’s a remarkable story, and one that shows another side of Helene’s work. For her, helping people wasn’t limited to teaching them how to win prizes. It was also about encouraging them to understand themselves and find a different way forward.
NOTE: Remember, Helene was psychic, which is why she intuitively knew to change the subject and spoke to her spirit guide when she was in the washroom.)
