How to Live in the End Result and Let Your Desires Manifest

4.3 min read868 wordsCategories: Manifesting

I get countless emails from people asking me to help them win the lottery. The reason is always the same: “I need the money so I can do this… so I can have that… so I can finally live the life I want.”

But here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear: it isn’t about the money.
And the moment you make it about the money, you block the very thing you’re trying to bring in.

I learned this from Helene Hadsell, whose SPEC method—Select It, Project It, Expect It, Collect It—is a simple, powerful four-step manifesting process. And the biggest mistake people make is focusing on how their desire should arrive. The “how” is not your job. The “how” belongs entirely to the universe.

Your job is the end result.

The End Result Is Where the Magic Happens

When you focus on the outcome—as if it already exists—you shift your nervous system and your energy into alignment with receiving it. You’re no longer hoping or wishing. You’re embodying it. And when you feel that truth in the solar plexus, that’s when the doors open.

If you struggle with this concept, I highly recommend Mike Dooley’s work, especially his teachings on Thoughts Become Things. His exercises help you bypass the “how” and step into the feeling of your fulfilled desire.

But how do you actually live in the end result? Let me give you a real example straight from my life.

How I Used End-Result Living to 10x My Business

One of my current goals is to 10x my business. But instead of obsessing over the money or the mechanics of how it could happen, I asked myself a different question: If my business were already 10x, how would I behave?

That one question changed everything.

Here’s what living in the end result looked like for me:

  • I wouldn’t be behind on my accounting, so I caught it up.
  • I wouldn’t be drowning in old files, so I sorted and purged them.
  • I wouldn’t keep clutter in my office, so I removed everything I didn’t need.
  • I would have a clean workspace, so I cleared my desk.
  • I would stay on top of communications, so I started answering emails promptly.
  • I would run my schedule like a professional, so I updated and organized my calendar.

And you know what? It felt amazing. A clean office. Clear mind. No piles nagging at me. I can actually focus on my projects. I’m not scattered. I’m not overwhelmed.

This is what people miss: Living in the end result is about behaviour, not bank accounts.

Preparing Your Nervous System to Receive More

Think of it this way: if you suddenly won $10 million and bought a new house, what would you actually take with you?

Would you haul along the clothes in your closet that don’t fit? The boxes of things you haven’t touched in years? The filing pile you keep ignoring?

Probably not.

So don’t wait for the money to show up before you behave like someone who already has it. Start now:

  • Go through your home.
  • Clear your closets.
  • Organize your paperwork.
  • Donate what you don’t use.
  • Let go of anything that feels heavy, outdated, or energetically “stuck.”

Tell yourself: “I’m preparing for the life I’m stepping into. My nervous system needs to be ready.”

Because when your internal environment and external environment match the future you’re calling in, you create space for it to land.

Action Steps to Start Today

Here are simple, powerful steps to shift into the end result right now:

1. Define the end result.

Not the money. Not the how. The actual desire: freedom, security, health, travel, a new home, a thriving business.

2. Identify the behaviours of someone who already has it.

How do they live? How do they manage their time, space, energy?

3. Start embodying those behaviours today.

Even small changes count.

4. Declutter your physical space.

If you wouldn’t take it to your “new life,” it shouldn’t stay in your current one.

5. Strengthen your emotional alignment.

Daily practices such as:

  • Visualization
  • Gratitude
  • Affirmations
  • Journaling
  • Quiet time to tune into the feeling of “already done”

6. Let the universe handle the how.

Your job is the end result and the aligned action. The universe takes care of the mechanics.
