How to Win the Lottery – Helene Hadsell Style – Part 1
In Helene Hadsell’s second edition of The Name It & Claim It Game, she added a chapter called How to Reinforce Your Talents and Greatness. Within that chapter, she outlines her thoughts on how to win the lottery.
How About Lotteries?
That’s a question I am asked quite frequently. I don’t know. I have never had an opportunity to do research. Texas now has a state lottery. I do have some thoughts about how I would approach that sweepstakes. I would choose the numbers that had personal significance for me: my birth date, house number, or social security number. I would stay with the same numbers and keep giving energy to them by seeing myself being presented with a hefty amount on a check. It would be difficult to specify a certain amount because I understand the jackpot varies. Each state has different systems; some use six numbers, and some use eight. If your state lottery numbers are selected on TV, you certainly have an excellent opportunity to play the mind over matter game and mentally see your numbers being selected. The more positive one becomes, the faster the end results are realized.
The reason Helene never had an opportunity to do research was that Texas didn’t have a state lottery until November 1992. This particular book entry was published in 1988.
When I first read out this paragraph on TikTok, people were mad at me that Helene didn’t win the lottery. They didn’t understand that Helene had no requirement for the money. She had already won every prize she desired including a fully furnished home.
Most people want to win the lottery so they have the means to buy a house, a car, travel, etc., but if you skipped over the money and went right to the end result, why would you need the money? That is what Helene did. Plus, as Helene never had a state lottery as a winning option, it wasn’t even in her realm of thought or desire.
In 2022, I collected the remains of her business files. I felt like I won the lottery when I came across two articles Helene had written on winning the lottery.
I thought it would be fun to reveal these two new articles while scratching off lottery tickets with the possibility of my winning a million dollars. (No spoiler alerts here. You will have to watch the video to see what I won!)
