The Science of Getting Rich

Originally out of print for 83 years, Dr. Judith Powell published The Science of Getting Rich with modern insights. Now, after her edition was out of print for 33 years, I’m excited and pleased to announce that I have republished Dr. Judith Powell’s edition of Wallace Wattles classic!

I discovered Judith’s work in a roundabout way. Sadly, I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person because she passed away in 2015. However, I did connect with her husband, Dr. Tag Powell, in 2022 because he was Helene Hadsell’s second publisher and an author in his own right. (Tag met Helene via José Silva, as Helene was José’s assistant, and Tag was a Silva Method Instructor.) He loved how I had updated all of Helene’s books, so he agreed to let me maintain part of his and his late wife’s legacy.

NOTE: I only purchased the rights to 10 books and 5 audio series, but they had written dozens more. I chose the ones I thought would best suit those seeking to manifest a more prosperous, magical life.

The Secret

These teachings may sound familiar to you because Rhonda Byrne used the 1910 edition of The Science of Getting Rich as the basis for The Secret movie. The Secret book was created once the movie was a success. About this Edition

This update was unusual because it was an update of an update. Preserving the integrity of both Wallace Wattles and Dr. Judith Powell’s work is deeply important to me. In previous works that I have had the privilege of updating and resharing with the world, I made only minor adjustments, mainly focused on formatting for modern publishing platforms. However, in this particular book, while most of Wallace Wattles’s work was brilliant, bringing universal truths to his generation, it also contained some examples that matched prevailing beliefs of the time. I couldn’t, in good faith, leave his text in this edition. I refuse to allow those thoughts and energies to continue in the universal consciousness for this and future generations. Therefore, with my editor’s help, we have updated those passages to reflect current language and views.
