WARNING: Helene Hadsell & AI

4.4 min read863 wordsCategories: Helene Hadsell

Last year, I discovered there was a gentleman who was taking Helene Hadsell’s teachings, putting them into AI, and creating books. Not just one book, but 10. It took me several months, two law firms, a private detective, and copyrighting her books with the United States Copyright Office to stop him from pirating her work. Thankfully, those books were removed from Amazon and Audible.

Once everything was settled legally, I wrote about how you should be vigilant when buying books, watching videos, listening to stories, etc., to ensure the teachings are from the original creator and not an AI ‘creation’. Not just Helene’s works, but any author, teacher, guide, etc.

Authenticity vs. Interpretation vs. AI

And, it’s happened again …

One thing I discovered on this journey to stop piracy is that unless a work is copied word-for-word, Amazon and KDP won’t do anything. If the pirate uses a pen name, there is no way to find them.

This one makes me angry as it’s an absolute scam. This person is charging $25 USD for 4 pages of text that just regurgitates Helene’s SPEC Method. I offer you more of her teachings for FREE on this website than what’s in the ‘book,’ and I use that term loosely.

Especially since some of the information included is wrong or made up, and formatting doesn’t exist. (I fixed the layout a bit in this post so it would be legible.)

Judge for yourself.

Helene Hadsell: The Woman Who Mastered the Art of Winning Introduction

by Arindam

We all dream—of winning a house, a car, or simply achieving our greatest goals in life.

But there was one woman who turned dreaming into a science—and she actually won almost everything she desired.

Her name was Helene Hadsell, famously known as “The Contest Queen”, and her legendary SPEC technique continues to inspire thousands worldwide.

Early Life

Helene Hadsell was born June 1, 1924 in McKinney, Texas, USA.

She lived an ordinary life but possessed an extraordinary mindset. From a young age, she believed that the mind had the power to shape reality.

After her marriage, she began entering contests with her husband, but initially had little success—until she started studying how thoughts, emotions, and intention influence results.

The Story of Her Success

By the 1950s and 1960s, Helene began winning almost every contest she entered.

Her prizes included:

A fully furnished house
Cars
International trips
Countless other prizes

Her secret? A method she developed herself—called SPEC.

She once said: “You can have anything you want—if you know how to use your mind.”

The SPEC Technique: A Four-Step Formula for Manifestation

Helene’s SPEC Method is a four-step mental process that helps you manifest what you truly desire.

It stands for Select, Project, Expect, Collect—a simple yet powerful formula to align thought, emotion, and action.

Select It—Choose your desire. Be specific about what you want. The clearer your goal, the more focused your mind becomes. Example: “I will win a three-bedroom blue house in this contest.”

Project It—Visualize it, see it, feel it, and live it as if it is already yours. Visualization builds emotional resonance with your desire. Spend a few minutes daily imagining yourself living in that house, feeling grateful and excited.

Expect It—Believe it’s yours. Expect your result with unshakeable confidence. Let go of doubt and fear—trust the process and be patient. “It’s already mine; I’m simply waiting for the right moment.”

Collect It—Take action. When inspiration strikes, act immediately. Manifestation requires participation. Enter the contest, send the application, make the call—do what needs to be done.

Her Philosophy and Teachings

For Helene, the mind was the bridge between thought and reality.

She taught that belief, focus, and inspired action are the three keys to success.

Her famous quote captures it perfectly: “What you think about, you bring about”

She emphasized that:

Focus—Concentration channels your inner energy.

Belief—Faith activates the power of the subconscious mind.

Action—Thought without action is incomplete. Helene also worked closely with Jose Silva, the founder of the Silva Mind Control Method, and gave lectures on mind training and self-mastery across the U.S.

Books and Legacy

Her best-known work, The Name It & Claim It Game, explains her SPEC method in detail—showing readers how to manifest success in any area of life.

Helene passed away on October 30, 2010, but her message continues to live through books, interviews, and workshops. Today, her ideas form a bridge between the early positive thinking movement and the modern law of attraction philosophy.

Key Lessons from Helene Hadsell

Be specific about what you want. Feel your desire as though it’s already true. Expect results with confidence, not doubt. Act when the moment arrives.

Her life is living proof that mental clarity, faith, and inspired action can make the impossible possible.

Conclusion

Helene Hadsell’s story reminds us that the power to shape our destiny lies within our own mind.

Her SPEC technique is more than a manifestation formula—it’s a mindset, a discipline, and a way of life. “You already have everything you need. The universe is just waiting for you to decide.”
