I found this gem in the 1992 Silva International Convention handout.

Helene Hadsell, featured speaker at the 1992 Silva Method International Convention in Laredo Aug. 8 and 9, has won every contest she has ever entered. During her talk on Sunday, she will tell you How to Be a Winner in All Areas of Your Life.

What does a winner like that feel her mission is in this lifetime?

“To make people realize that they have all the answers and not to rely on others for their opinions,” she said. “Write your script and play it with gusto. And most important, you must discern…discern…discern.”

Helene was an early Silva Method graduate. She edited the Silva Method Newsletter for Silva International in the early 1970s.

Today she is a teacher, writer, and researcher investigating psychic phenomenon, something she has done for the last 27 years.

Here is some of what this remarkable woman has to say about herself: “My friends like me because all my friends are special, and I make them feel that way. Also, for my sense of humor that is spontaneous.”

“My favorite expression or cliche is, Life is either a daring adventure,..or nothing.”

Her ideal vacation is “Time travel via meditation.”

What is one thing that everyone but Helene has tried? “To psychoanalyze me.”

She says her most valued possession is…her tape recorder.

Her best asset is “Seeing all problems as projects and finding a solution.”

Helene reports that behind her back, people say, “Anything she can do, I can do better.” She adds, “This pleases me because that has been my philosophy throughout this lifetime.”

“If I had my life to live over, I’d change..nothing.”

Guests at her fantasy dinner party would include “Margaret Thatcher, Barbara Walters, Willie Nelson, Jose Silva, Sister Teresa, Einstein, and Gebran.”

She feels good about “Selling almost a million copies of my book The Name It and Claim It Game, published in 1971. I am still getting phone calls from people who read it.”

The one thing she would change about herself: “I’d be thinner.”

Her biggest regret: “Being born too soon to experience the year 2000 technology. Especially in the medical field.”

Her mother’s best advice: “Just because we are poor, does not mean we are stupid.”

She says her greatest honor was “Being invited to Prague and Russia to present my research paper I conducted in England on thought forms and aberrations.”

And how would Helene Hadsell sum up her lifetime of experiences? She answered by saying that she would like to be remembered as “Having written and lived the eleventh commandment: Thou shalt have thy jollies!”

I would have loved to have attended one of Helene’s lectures. I am pretty sure the attendees laughed a lot.

Have you ever taken The Silva Method? Attend the same FREE introductory class Helene Hadsell did. I may even be hosting it as I am in training to become a certified Silva Method instructor.
