Jose Silva Won the Lottery!
When we were on vacation in Mexico, I spotted a lottery kiosk. I remembered how José Silva won the lottery in 1949, allowing him to fulfill his destiny as a metaphysical pioneer and mindset teacher.
I wanted to see if they still sold the same lottery tickets, but then I realized it had been over 75 years ago. Plus, I didn’t remember the whole story, so I couldn’t even ask.
When we came home, I pulled out my copy of The Silva Mind Control Method, and I scanned it cover to cover for the story. It wasn’t there. Hmmm …..
Luckily, I am blessed to be maintaining Helene Hadsell’s legacy. She was José Silva’s assistant for six years and his friend for over 30. I obtained the remains of her business files and part of her library. One of the books was her autographed copy of José’s biography, I Have a Hunch. I found the story in Chapter 18, Some of My Guides and Teachers During Research.
I chose to read José’s adventure aloud on YouTube (vs re-writing it here in a blog post). Join me as I regale you with the tale in José’s own words that changed not only his life but also the world.
On a sidetrack, I included an image of José’s autograph to Pat and Helene because I couldn’t make out his handwriting and thought maybe a reader could help.
Remember, Helene didn’t legally change her name. She only added an E after learning numerology, so technically, Helene is a pen name. Helene is her legal name, and José met her as Helen and would always call her Helen.
