Reading Helene Hadsell’s Astrology

I’ve always been fascinated by the different ways we can look at Helene Hadsell’s life and teachings. So, when I had astrologer Jenn Rose explore Helene’s birth chart, I was curious to see what would come up. Here’s what stood out to me from our conversation.

INTUITION AND INSTINCT

One of the things we talked about was Helene’s ability to follow her intuition. Her story about knowing she had to go see a particular house in 1965, and then knowing almost immediately that it was going to be hers, is a great example. It reminded me that Helene didn’t just talk about trusting your intuition. She actually did it.

POSITIVE THINKING DOESN’T MEAN IGNORING REALITY

Helene went through some very difficult things in her life, but she didn’t use positive thinking to pretend they weren’t happening. You can have fear, sadness, or uncertainty and still choose what you want to focus on. As Jenn said, you can’t be “high vibe” all the time. We’re human, and we have emotions.

ASTROLOGY AS A WEATHER REPORT

I loved Jenn’s description of astrology as being a bit like an energy weather report. You can’t control the weather, but if you know it might rain, you can take an umbrella. To me, that fits nicely with Helene’s teachings. The more aware we are of what is happening around us, the more consciously we can choose how we respond.

YOUR PURPOSE CAN CHANGE

One of my favorite ideas from our conversation was: “Your purpose is what you do on purpose.” Rather than thinking we have one giant purpose to discover and complete, Jenn explained that our purpose can change as we grow, learn, and move through different chapters of our lives. That certainly gives you something to think about!
